I’m Rupesh Patel, founder of L2E Café and the driving force behind Orbit Food Works. My culinary journey began with formal education in Culinary Management at Niagara College, Canada, and Hospitality Management from Beacon International College, Singapore. But the real learning came from hands-on experience in the kitchens and service floors of F&B outlets, cafés, hawkers in Singapore, and contemporary Italian, Mediterranean, and fine-dining restaurants in Canada.
I’ve worked across the spectrum of food and hospitality, and one thing was clear—most places serve what sells, not what inspires.
L2E Café was born from the gap I felt in the industry: a lack of originality, soul, and purpose. My vision was simple yet powerful—create a space that serves food with imagination, integrity, and meaning. No borrowed trends. No copied menus. Only seasonal dishes, unique flavors, and food that’s real, honest, and always evolving.
Here, the menu is never fixed. If something starts to feel like it’s found elsewhere, I change it—without hesitation. My promise to every guest: you will never be bored, and you will always feel nourished. This café is not just about food; it’s a living expression of everything I’ve learned, experienced, and dreamed of as a chef.
